This theater opened in 1965 as the Stanley Warner Route Four Theatre. The triplex was the only theater in the state to show "Star Wars" in 70mm on the day of its release in May 1977. The theater expanded from four screens to seven in 1981 and was a tenplex by 1999. It closed after business on May 24, 2007, when the new 16-plex at Garden State Plaza opened.
