The Princess, which reopened on March 22, 2012 after being closed since 1999, has been renovated into a complex for arts education and a conference center. The center hubs around the Princess auditorium, but also includes a local TV station and a conferencing center. There are three downtown buildings that make up the complex.

The theater features local talent in stage and music. It is a place art students can get hands-on experience in running a TV studio, stage and music productions, set design, and work with state-of-the-art sound and broadcasting equipment.
