Information for this tour was contributed by Daniel Gibbs. The second Horn Theatre on this site was built around 1920 and closed in 1970. It reopened briefly in the 1970s. It's still in great shape, being used as a church. Perversely, the Baltimore Yellow Pages STILL has a listing for this theatre, though it hasn't been open for years. I did try dialing the number once and got a very confused little old lady, who actually remembered the theatre's opening night once I got talking to her, but she was in no way related to the place and couldn't figure out why her number was listed under "New Horn Theatre."
