Information for this tour was contributed by Grant Smith. On 27 March 1998 Cinemark opened what, at the time, was the largest movie theater in Utah in a single building. The 30,000-square-foot Tinseltown USA at Newgate Mall has 14 screens with 3,173 seats. The theaters range in size from 154 to 290. There are two separate concession areas and three different sets of rest rooms. [1]
The Tinseltown USA replaced an older 4-screen discount theater at the mall. [2]
