Information for this tour was contributed by Grant Smith.
The Fox Theatre in Provo had 796 seats and opened in May 1967. The theater was built by Fox Intermountain Theatres, a subsidiary of National General Corp., as part of a 50-million-dollar expansion program to add 100 new theatres in the U.S.
The Fox Theater was almost identical to the Fox Cottonwood Mall Theater in Salt Lake before it was split. The Fox Theater was demolished and a McDonald's now stands on the site.
