Information for this tour was contributed by Kyle Muldrow. The Star-Vu Drive-In opened on May 18, 2007. The theater is located in a parking lot at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, CA. It holds 300 cars and uses an inflatable screen that is 33 feet tall and 65 feet wide. It is open all year, seven nights a week, except during the Orange County Fair in July and August. The Star-Vu is the first drive-in theater in Orange County, CA, in 10 years. The last OC drive-in theater, the Hi-Way 39 Drive-in in Westminster, closed in 1997 and was replaced by a Wal-Mart. Photos
