Information for this tour was contributed by William French Jr. This auditorium was converted to apartment decades ago. This was an 800 seat theatre. Between the turn of the 20th Century and the 1920s the Victorian/italianate facade was removed and replaced by a flat facade with ornamentation around the windows. In 1912 the Lyric was moved into a new building, the first specifically built for motion pictures in San Rafael.
