Information for this tour was contributed by Grant Smith. Westates Theatres began construction on the Pineview Stadium 10 Theatres in February 2004, with a scheduled opening of 19 November 2004. The cinema is the largest in Southern Utah and in the Westates Theatres chain.
The 30,000-square-foot theater complex has an expansive lobby and an extra large concession stand. The auditoriums range in size from 150 to 400 seats, with double aisles, stadium seating, and digital sound.
Westates decided to build the Pineview Stadium 10 on the east end of St. George because the area is growing and because the Sunset Corner Stadium 8 often has lines that stretch into the parking lot.
The Pineview Stadium 10 was built on five acres of a 13-acre shopping center on the southwest corner of 2450 East and Red Cliffs Drive. The development also includes restaurants, a furniture store, an exercise gym, and other retail shops. T. J. Rudman, vice president of Westates Theatres, estimated the Pineview Stadium 10 would cost $4 million to build, excluding the price of the land, and another $1 million to equip.
