Cinema Center 3 was built by Interstate Theatres, which operated the cinema from 1981-1988 and then taken over by Hoyts Cinemas until they closed it in 1990. It was located on West Patrick Street. Each auditorium was a different color ... yellow, red, green. Cinema #1 had a manhole cover for a city sewage pipe that could make for a ripe smell on occasion.
