Information for this tour was contributed by Dave Felthous.

Sterling Recreation Organization had planned a multiplex at the Three Rivers Mall, built on a former golf course adjacent to Interstate 5, but building of the shopping center was held up for several years and by the time it opened SRO been bought out by Cineplex Odeon, which went ahead with SRO's plans.

The five-screen theater has a sunken lobby, and auditorium walls are decorated with fabric rectangles that resemble flags. Originally only three of the auditoriums had Dolby, but when Act III took over in 1992 it put digital systems in all five.

The theater name morphs into several variations, depending on where you see it. Regal's Web site calls it the Three Rivers Mall (although it is not in the mall itself), its newspaper ads list it as Three Rivers 5, and the sign, unchanged since it was installed, says Three Rivers Cinemas.
