Information for this tour was contributed by Bob Monaco. In 1925, Frank and Vera Thompson named and opened their newly constructed theatre after their youngest son, Ramon. This theater was built in the same location as the original Thompson Tent theatre. The theatre was built in the Mediterranean Revival style. It was built to accommodate both Vaudeville and silent movies. It closed sometime in the early 1960s.
Members of the black community sat in the balcony. Most were not allowed to attend movie viewings; they were only allowed to attend other events. Ticket sales were restricted, with white patrons getting preference.
