Information for this tour was contributed by Carroll H Rasch. Opened in 1970 as the Har-Mar I & II, the second auditorium was split in 1977. This original building is located next door to the Har-Mar 4-11, but is not connected. Both locations closed on December 7, 2006, with the opening of the Rosedale 14 across the mall.
The theater is located in the Har Mar shopping center named for the developers HARold and MARy Slawik. They owned the MIDWAY FORD dealership. Midway is an area "midway" between downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis on University Avenue. They bought the piece of land on which the Har Mar shopping center was built. Photos
