Information for this tour was contributed by Chester Tacka.

The Star was torn down in a "fit" of urban renewal in 1973.

The theatre was part of the Dipson chain. The Riviera Theatre, across the bridge in North Tonawanda, was part of the same chain. Cinemette Corporation acquired the Star from the Dipson organization.

The booker, displaying a modest sense of humor, scheduled "The Last Picture Show" as the final feature.
