An article appearing on page 14 of the Modern Theatre section of the 11/5/1962 edition of Boxoffice Magazine reviewed three theatres that were acquired and remodelled by Sack Theatres. In this article it mentions that Sack renamed the Strand to the Capri in honor of this theatre being lost to the tollway expansion into downtown Boston.
