Laemmle Theatres opened this theatre in July of 1991 and operated it until November 17, 2011 at which point it was closed for remodelling to be reopened by Sundance Cinemas.

Carmike acquired this and four other Sundance Cinemas in the fall of 2015.

AMC acquried this theatre when it bought Carmike Cinemas in December 2016.
