Information for this tour was contributed by Konrad Schiecke.

The "New" Fox Theatre opened in the 1930s on Main Street (now Galena Boulevard) with 627 seats. It was built on the site of the old Aurora City Mills as a sentimental reminder to Jules J. Rubens of his favorite old Fox Theatre. It closed in the 1970s.
