The Crest Theatre was located at 8800 Gravois. It was built and opened in 1943. The building was the quonset hut style. It was part of the St. Louis Amusement/Arthur Theatre chain. The Crest seated 782 on one level. It was closed and demolished on February 1977. A Fish and Chips restaurant was built on the site of the Crest.

The Rio Theatre in Monte Rio, Ca. is a mirror image of the Crest Theatre in Affton, Mo.
