Originally built as a six-plex in 1988, General Cinema added a seventh screen shortly after opening and then three more screens in the 1990s. Laemmle Theatres took over in December 2001 after a brief closing, and returned the cinema to its seven-screen configuration with over 2000 seats. The three closed screens are located to the right of the entrance and have been converted to retail.
