Information for this tour was contributed by Mark Cone. The Springs Rd Drive In in Hickory, NC last showed movies around 1988. The original owner's son still operates the site on the weekend as the Springs Road Flea Market and has considered re-opening the theatre as a side fare. The screen is in very good condition and all of the projection equipment is still in place ... just waiting! Photos
