The Marlo was built in 1920 as the Hyland and renamed the Marlo in 1931. The facade of the building was remodeled sometime after 1947. The theater is now the Kuong Jou Cafe, a restaurant serving American and Chinese food. The theater is located in the downtown Sugarhouse area in Salt Lake City.
