Information for this tour was contributed by Grant Smith. The American Theater opened before 1914. [1] The theater had a ballroom upstairs which was covered with beautiful Art Deco. After seeing a movie, patrons would go up to the ballroom to dance. Between 1927 and 1929, the theater was renamed the Granada Theatre. The building later became W. T. Grant Co. and the ballroom was use for stock.
The American Theater showed movies about 1930. [2]
