Information for this tour was contributed by Grant Smith. The Trolley Square Theatres was a four-screen theater in Trolley Square, a mall built in the old trolley garages of Salt Lake City. The theater was the first in the Trolley Theaters chain, which was later sold to Plitt Theatres. The employees wore keystone cops uniforms and the outside walls of the theater were covered with murals of classic movies. The theater closed in the late 1980s and was reopened for a time as a dinner theater with live entertainment and film. The space was later converted to retail.
