Information for this tour was contributed by Daniel Gibbs. A great late Moderne number with yellow brick construction and black enamel detailing. The "second-run" house for the "Pigtown" neighborhood, the Monroe could seat about 500 and ran second fiddle to the Horn Theatre. Currently shuttered, it's been open as a furniture store in recent memory, though it still features a bizarre, off-centre marquee.
