Opened in 1916 and closed in the mid-1970s. Elaborate brownstone and copper facade -- which has, perversely, been PAINTED over in brown and green. It's doing a booming business now as the "Latin Palace" restaurant/bar/club in what is now a lively Hispanic section of the city. Worth a visit.
