The Milwaukie Tri Cinema was originally the Victory Theatre (you can still see the faint imprint of the orginal sign), built in the mid-to-late 1940s ("victory", presumably, referring to WWII). Originally housing a single large auditorium, it has since had two smaller screens split off the main auditorium, and the balcony sealed up and used for projection and storeage.
