OKC's Centre Theatre opened in 1947 and was designed by S. Straus Nayfach. Nafach also used the same auditorium style in his 1947 Alameda Theatre, San Antonio, TX. About the only major differences between the two auditoriums where the Centre sidewall blacklight murals depicted an abstract Hollywood theme. Sidewalls of the Alameda illustrated Texas history.
