Information for this tour was contributed by Dave Kingham. In about 2000, Loews built the 12-screen 2-level Magic Johnson Theatre with 3012 seats. This was a new-build further north in the mall from the former General Cinema facility. When the mall opened, it was the largest indoor shopping center in the country. It is now in serious decline, with less than 50% occupancy, and the future of the entire place is cloudy. Photos
