Information for this tour was contributed by Mark Cone. The Peabody 22 was opened in June of 2001 and occupies the entire third floor of the Peabody Place Entertainment complex in downtown Memphis. It features a large format screen, on which 35mm is shown in the evenings. It has been home to the Lilo and Stitch Premier, The Memphis Indy Film Festival, and The Black Writers Film Festival, as well as many other events. It is designed to give the feel of being in a train station, complete with electric trains and bells running through the ceilings and down the halls.
