The Oasis opened on September 1, 1961, and was the last drive-in in the Quad Cities to close down, on August 30, 1987. It became a parking lot for the Super Cinemas Davenport in 1990.

An article in the Moline Dispatch from 8/29/1964 announced that Redstone Management had purchased the Memri, Semri and Oasis Drive-Ins.
