The second floor of this building (and that of all but one other in town) was blown off in a 1948 tornado, but the drugstore downstairs survived and expanded into the theater's space. The drugstore is now the Antique Emporium, and the theater's backstage area--including a door through which scenery was delivered--is still visible in the Emporium's back room.
