Information for this tour was contributed by Ken Roe.
Built as the flagship theatre in the Odeon circuit, it remains London's premier theatre where the Royal Film Performance is held annually. The original Compton Theatre Organ with illuminated console is still played occasionally. A recent restoration modernised the lobby areas, re-instated cove lighting in the auditorium ceiling and returned copies of the side wall sculptures that were removed in a 1967 'modernisation'.
