Information for this tour was contributed by Jerry Horwitz. Much earlier in time, probably in the 1930s, my grandparents owned the Crescent Theatre. I remember my mother telling us years ago about working there -- she left CA in 1935 for Atlanta and I don't remember anything about my grandparents still owning it at any time after I was old enough to understand their conversations (I was born in 1939). I would guess they were no longer owners by the early 1940s, at the latest, but don't know for sure. I believe the Crescent may have been located in a section of Toronto known as "The Junction", but have no idea where that is.
