Information for this tour was contributed by Ken Roe.

The original 1921 Victory Theatre (designed by architect Cecil F. Keeley) was reconstructed in 1928 to the plans of Cecil Ballantyne and was incorporated in the Hoyts chain of cinemas. After closing, the building was purchased from Hoyts by the National Theatre Company. A new floor was extended across from the front of the balcony, creating a theatre in that space, with rehearsal rooms in the former orchestra stalls area.
