Information for this tour was contributed by Ken Roe.

The Sun operated as a full time cinema until 1982 when it was closed. Opening again briefly until 1984 it was then shuttered and became derelict. Eventually taken over by Michael Smith he set about restoring the building to its original splendour. In May 2003 an additional 3 screens were added within the building.
All have a distinctive style in keeping with the art deco feel of the building.
