OKC's Centre Theatre opened in 1947 and was designed by S. Straus Nayfach. Nafach also used the same auditorium style in his 1947 Alameda Theatre, San Antonio, TX. One of the few major difference between the two auditoriums was that the Centre sidewall blacklight murals depicted an abstract Hollywood theme, where the muralss of the Alameda illustrated Texas history.
