Information for this tour was contributed by Fred Divel. San Clemente's Miramar Theatre was opened in 1938. It closed in 1984. It was designed by the well-known theatre architect C.L. Balch and is listed on the city's inventory of historic buildings. It started out as the San Clemente, then the El Hidalgo and it will go back to the San Clemente when she reopens. It was known as the Miramar for a few years in the 1980s. Photos Photos remain the property of the Member and may not be reproduced without the written consent of the Member. |
